Leke and Tinu Banjo are the Lead Pastors of RCCG New Wine Chapel in Richmond, Texas. As servant leaders, they are passionate and vocal about their faith in Jesus Christ, focusing on relationships, marriages, marital intimacy, and families. Pastor Leke Banjo is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, characterized by his humility and unwavering conviction that Christ’s sacrifice was for all humanity, not just a select few. He often emphasizes, “I do not believe in throwing human beings away.” Whether individuals are difficult to please, hard to work with, or fragile in faith, Pastor Leke firmly believes in God’s transformative power to change lives. This deep-seated belief has driven him to become a passionate teacher of God’s Word. Transitioning from his career as an engineer, he embraced God’s calling to teach and minister.
Over the years, he has taught in nearly all teaching ministries within the RCCG, including believer’s baptismal classes and the Bible College.In addition to his ministry work, Pastor Leke currently teaches mathematics at the high school level, combining his analytical background with his dedication to nurturing young minds. Pastor Leke is happily married to his college sweetheart, Atinuke Omolewa Banjo, fondly known as Pastor Tinu.
She is a dual board certified Nurse Clinician who serves along side her husband and a tremendous support in the Ministry. She is deeply passionate and outspoken about her faith in Jesus Christ and topics related to relationships, marriage, marital intimacy and families. Pastor Tinu shares biblical wisdom through her devotional New Wine Minutes and they have between them authored three books: A Word for Today!, The Rib!, and New Wine Minutes Devotional for Couples.
Together, they have five wonderful children, creating a loving and faith-filled family.
